July 31, 2025 - The International Institute of All-Natural Refrigeration (IIAR) and the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE) announced that the two groups have recently signed an updated Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) that emphasizes their commitment to advancing and promoting the mutual interests of their members.
IIAR sources said this partnership is a big step in better collaboration between the two organizations which share the common goal of improving cooling, freezing and heat pump industry standards and practices.
The two organizations will seek to pursue initiatives laid out in an IIAR-ASHRAE workplan, to bring about innovation, improve HVACR system sustainability, expand international standards development, and support the ongoing education and training of professionals in the heating, refrigeration, and air conditioning sectors.
