RSES Articulation Agreement
with HVAC U, LLC
RSES has entered into an articulation agreement with HVAC U, LLC, based in Southfield, MI, benefiting students and the institutions involved. The finalized agreement allows individuals who have completed specified RSES training courses the ability to
transfer those earned credits toward HVAC U, LLC coursework, including:
- OSHA 10--Safety
- Basic Electricity
- Hydronic Heating
- Air Conditioning Tech
- Refrigeration Tech
- Heating Tech
- Building Sciences/BPI
Requirements
HVAC U LLC will accept RSES coursework for HVAC U LLC credit for the courses listed in Appendix A if students meet the following requirements and adhere to the Admission Procedures outlined below.
- Students must have gained admission to HVAC U LLC and met placement requirements. Admission fees will apply.
- Students must submit an official, final high school transcript.
- Students must submit an official RSES Examination & Training Course Participation Transcript that shows the completion of each course in Appendix A with a final exam score of 70% or higher.
- HVAC U Student must be or become an active RSES student or regular member and adhere to the rules pertaining to Membership status and the code of ethics as supplied by the Association.
- HVAC U LLC will only consider those credits earned through RSES for the terms of this agreement. Students must request transcripts from additional institutions to be evaluated on an individual basis at HVAC U LLC.
- The student’s academic profile will be provided after official evaluation of all transfer credit. The academic profile will determine graduation requirements.
- To obtain the HVAC U Certificate of Achievement, the student must provide proof of OSHA 10 certification and submit it to HVAC U, or the student must complete the OSHA 10 certification course through HVAC U.
RSES Training Courses Required for HVAC U Course Credit
Successful completion of all of the below courses is necessary in order to receive credits toward the HVAC U, LLC Coursework. The required RSES training course titles and the HVAC U Coursework equivalencies follow:
