RSES Journal has received an update on A2L refrigerant cylinder production from Worthington Enterprises, Columbus, OH, the leading provider of those cylinders to the HVACR industry. The statement, by Joe Giannetti, general manager, Cooling, Construction and Fire Suppression, Building Products, Worthington Enterprises, reports that steps taken in recent months have ensured that all of Worthington Enterprises’ promised delivery dates are being met. The full statement by Mr. Giannetti follows: “As we wrap up May and head into the core summer months, I want to provide a brief update on our cylinder production in support of the surge in demand for A2L refrigerant. “I am pleased to share that lead times for new orders continue to shrink and that all promised delivery dates are being met. In preparation for this transition, Worthington Enterprises hired new employees, increased production shifts and secured additional raw material supplies. Thanks to our hardworking and committed U.S. employees, we are producing A2L cylinders at record levels in support of helping our customers transition to the new refrigerant as mandated by the AIM Act. “We are grateful to our customers for their advance planning and understanding of the unique situation, appreciative of the industry's collaboration throughout the supply chain and remain optimistic that contractors will have access to readily available supplies throughout the coming months to serve the American public.”
