This course assesses an individual’s understanding of the technical webinar on Basic Electrical Safety, as featured in June 2020, presented by Jeff Sloan. The RSES Member Webinar series continues with a presentation on electrical safety. According to OSHA, an average of one worker is electrocuted on the job every day. Electricity must be understood and respected. This webinar will explore the basics of electrical hazards, how they affect the body and how to prevent them.
About RSES Technical Webinars
RSES Technical Webinars allow individuals to earn Continuing Education Hours (CEHs) by watching a pre-recorded technical webinar and then answering a 10-question quiz related to its content. All 10 questions must be answered correctly to ensure your grasp of the webinar’s content.
Upon successfully answering all 10 questions correctly, a certificate of completion for one (1) hour of continuing education will be delivered to your email.
Most certification programs that accept continuing education as part of the requirement for recertification should accept these hours, including North American Technician Excellence (NATE). It is your responsibility to keep track of your individual CEHs and know the exact requirements for each your certifications.
