This course assesses an individual’s understanding of the technical webinar on Evacuation Done Right Orr, as featured in April 2020, presented by Bryan Orr. The RSES Member Webinar series continues with a presentation on system evacuation. Evacuation has been taught and performed since the start of our industry but many best practices have been lost or misunderstood. In this webinar we will cover: vacuum pump operation and testing; oil and its role in proper evacuation; how large is considered large enough for vacuum hoses; the importance of removing cores and how to do it; using a manifold vs. nixing the manifold; micron gauges and how they work; and much more!

RSES Technical Webinars allow individuals to earn Continuing Education Hours (CEHs) by watching a pre-recorded technical webinar and then answering a 10-question quiz related to its content. All 10 questions must be answered correctly to ensure your grasp of the webinar’s content.
Upon successfully answering all 10 questions correctly, a certificate of completion for one (1) hour of continuing education will be delivered to your email.
Most certification programs that accept continuing education as part of the requirement for recertification should accept these hours, including North American Technician Excellence (NATE). It is your responsibility to keep track of your individual CEHs and know the exact requirements for each your certifications.
